Meet John Conn

John Conn grew up in Gray, Georgia where he graduated from Jonesco Academy in 1979. After attending the University of Georgia pursuing an Agricultural Economics and Finance degree, John returned to Jones County. Having worked construction jobs during summers John began work for Dixie Metal Company in sales of the doors and windows associated with the buildings.  That led him to a career in packaging  equipment sales.  John covered the Southeastern United States from Virginia to Alabama selling coding and marking equipment to primarily food, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.  In 2002, he became licensed to sell real estate in Georgia and went to work for the family business. John obtained his Associate Broker license in 2007 to better serve his clients and was appointed Broker of Conn Realty by the family in 2020. With over 18 years of experience in multiple real estate disciplines, John is passionate about going above and beyond for his clients. His experience in the construction and manufacturing sector and ownership of commercial real estate grounds John’s basis for sound and appropriate due diligence.  Conn Realty, founded by John’s mother in 1977, is based on the values of trust and service, and John continues to uphold those each day. John can help you in any stage of a real estate transaction.  John also handles the property management division of Conn Realty. In 1999, John married wife, Sheila, and they have four dogs and a cat that sometimes drops by. They are members of The First Baptist Church of Christ in Macon where John has taught the Baraca-Chapman Sunday School class since 2008.
